  • Day 1: Full Day Fes Sightseeing Tour 

Today we will visit Fes which was considered Mecca of the west and Athena of Africa. It is the biggest city of the country after Casablanca with a population of approximately 1 million.This city is a the former capital and one of the country’s four imperial cities. Fez comprises three distinct parts, Fez el Bali which is the oldest part surrounded by a big wall, where are more than 9000 narrow streets and allies. Fez-Jdid or the new Fes, home of the Mellah the Jewish quarter and the Ville Nouvelle the newest section of Fez created during the French occupation.Fez el Bali is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its medina is the largest in the world. Among its narrow streets and allies, the oldest university in the world is located; The University of Al-Karaouine, founded in AD 859. This University is still operating nowadays.

  • Day 2 : Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen

Today, we will drive to Chefchaouen the blue pearl via Meknes where we will stop to see the fascinating gate Bab Mansour, the Mulay Ismail Mausoleum and the Sahrij Souani, before head to Volubilis Romain ruins it is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites in Morocco. You will have a guided tour of the site and learn more about the Roman Empire dating to 225 BC in Morocco. Continue our journey to reach Chefchaouen Medina situated at the footstep of higher Rif Mountains, just inland from Tangier and Tetouan. Experience the blue city of Morocco. It is a beautiful unique city, with its white washed walls and blue doors and windows. Unlike many parts of Morocco, Chefchaouen was occupied by Spain; therefore there is much influence from the Spanish civilization and Moorish architecture. Night in Riad or Hostel situated in the heart of the blue Medina.

  • Day 3 : Chefchaouen – Kenitra – Rabat

After breakfast, you will start travelling to Casablanca via the Imperial city of Rabat, the administrative capital of the Kingdom. It overlooks the sea. We visit the famous Mohammed V Mausoleum, Hassan Tower and enjoy a short break at the pretty walled Kasbah of Oudaias. overnight in the hotel.

  • Day 4 : Rabat – Casablanca – Marrakech

This morning we visit the exteriors of the impressive Hassan II Mosque, which displays the finest work Islamic craftsmen can produce, and we learn how historically important Casablanca was for Morocco. We then board our train in the early afternoon for our four-hour journey to Marrakech. This wonderful experience gives us time to reflect on the historically rich North and prepares us for a completely different aspect of Morocco. There is time in the evening to stretch our legs and visit the famous Djemaa el Fna Square, around which Marrakech revolves. The name literally means ‘place of death’, as it was where Sultans used to display the heads of their enemies. Now, with the food stalls, snake charmers, water-sellers, travelling musicians and acrobats, it is a place of entertainment for both Moroccan and overseas visitors.

  • Day 5 :  Explore Marrakech Sightseeing

Today will have an optional private Guided Tour of Marrakech Medina with an official guide from Marrakech. You will see the famous Mosque of Koutubia, the Medina and its souks, and explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets: Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian the Bahia Palace and Majorelle Gardens, night at a Riad in the Medina.

  • Day 6 : DAY  TRIP FROM MARRAKECH TO ESSAOUIRA

Leave Marrakech at 08:00, ready for a 3-hour journey to the beautiful Essaouira on the Atlantic Coast. Once you arrive at the port city, formerly known as Mogador, you will have time to enjoy the charming sights of Essaouira, including its ocher-colored walls, the beautiful Moulay El Hassan square, and the souks, as well as the little streets of the city’s old Medina. Enjoy a lunch of fresh fish in a local restaurant. During your trip, visit an association of Berber women producing argan oil, see the local markets, and marvel at the gems in the jeweler’s quarter.  You will return to Marrakech at the end of the afternoon, arriving back to the “Red City”.

  • Day 7 : Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades

We will start from Marrakech at 8am to travel over the stunning High Atlas mountains through Tizi n’Tichka (alt 2260 m). We will stop to enjoy impressive landscapes and visit the Argan oil cooperative. After lunch at a local restaurant we will have the afternoon to visit UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou. We will depart to Ouarzazate for dinner and accommodation in a traditional hotel.

  • Day 8  : Dades – Todra Gorges – Jorf – Er rissani – Merzouga (Camel Ride & Night in Desert)

After the breakfast, we go from Dades gorges to the erg chebbi Sahara desert in Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way, we’ll pass through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, and the we continue to Merzouga,after relaxing few minuts in Merzouga,we go to ride the camels who are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. we will spend the night in an camp (Nomad berber tents) with drums music in the middle of the Sahara,this is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise,when we arrive at the camp we go to a high dunes to see the sunset , we will spend the night in nomad tents .

  • Day 9 : Merzouga – Berber Nomad Families – Black Desert – Desert Mountains – Merzouga

We will drive to explore the tiny villages around Erg Chebbi dunes such as ( Hassi Labied, Merdani , Khamlia , M’fis ) on our way to Kamlia we expect to meet locals showing their desert foxes. you may also encounter desert reptiles and mammals, in Khamlia, known as the village of black people who were slaves coming from Sudan,you will be hospitably welcomed with a cup of tea (Whiskey Berber) while enjoying their spiritual Gnawa music. Leaving Khamlia our next stop is on the panoramic view of golden dunes near the Algerian border, we may stop for Picnic lunch under the shadow of a tree before continuing to visit a Nomad family, who are living under Berber tent and who are taking care for herd of cattle, goats and camels, you will be introduced to family members and getting to know about their way of life while enjoying the taste of a nice cup of tea. After these you will have the chance to visit the sites of black volcanic rocks. continuing on, you’ll reach the panorama near Yasmina lac (If there’s water in) where you will be amazed with the scene of the dunes in addition to the nearby lake (springtime)after that we will back to Merzouga, overnight in hotel near the dunes.

  • Day 10 – Merzouga – Rissani – Azrou – Fez

Get up early to see the beautiful sunrise and climb the dunes, then ride the camels back to the hostel where you will have breakfast. After a good breakfast, we will leave Rissani to visit the market and its famous parking lot of donkeys. It is a unique place, where they come to supply all the tribes and nomads of the desert. A very curious visit. Afterwards we will go to Erfoud where we will visit the quarries of fossils with more than 380 million years old. Continue until you reach Fez via the middle Atlas. Arrival in Fes in the afternoon and the end of your great 10 days Imperial city tour from fes.
